A bid to fight hunger: Fall Harvest Online Auction for Hunger supports Treasure Coast Food Bank

Treasure Coast Food Bank will host its first ever Fall Harvest Online Auction for Hunger this year with a week-long auction of packages to kick-start the giving season.  Bidding starts at 8 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 4 and runs through 11 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13.

Each of the packages not only make great gifts for your loved ones but support Treasure Coast Food Bank’s efforts to provide food to people struggling with hunger in Indian River, St. Lucie, Martin and Okeechobee counties.

“This year’s giving season takes on added significance with the increased need for food caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and so many people seeking help for the first time in their lives,” said Judith Cruz, President and CEO of Treasure Coast Food Bank. “Our Fall Harvest Online Auction for Hunger will support our efforts to feed our neighbors who are struggling.”

Auction packages include gift certificates for popular local spots and full excursions farther from home. Here’s a sampling:
