Nearly five years ago, a former medical researcher named Rozanne Brown, purchased 120 hamburgers from McDonald’s and distributed them to a group of local homeless citizens. She did this every day that followed and was soon joined by other community members who helped purchase and distribute food.

For the fifth year in a row, Tim and Brittany Holdy, owners of Holdy Realty, hosted a toy drive at their home in The Pines subdivision in Jensen Beach.

The couple has named the occasion "Santa in The Pines."  They started mailing out invitations in September to all of their 556 neighbors in The Pines and Windemere for the December 7 event.

VERO BEACH, Fl. ­-- A savory dinner of seasonal favorites on the pristine lakefront at Schacht Groves was the idyllic setting for Treasure Coast Food Bank’s Fall Harvest Dinner. The celebration of nutritious local food benefitted children, seniors and families struggling with hunger on the Treasure Coast.

Wild West Children’s Ball

Cowboys, Cowgirls and Wild West characters embraced the theme of this year’s Children’s Ball held at the Museum on Saturday. The Wild West Children’s Ball was all about the kids, but we included some fun activities for the adults as well. In fact, 95% of the adults embraced the event theme and dressed up too.
